OEVS India (Oceania Education & Visa Services) ("OEVS", "we", "us") operates oevs.in and provides overseas education and migration consultancy services. This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through our website, contact forms, WhatsApp, phone, email and our free tools (eligibility checker, cost calculator, PR points calculator, IELTS/PTE tools, and similar).

1. What we collect

When you use a form, calculator or WhatsApp button on this site, we may collect:

Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email address
Information you enter into our free tools to generate a result — e.g. destination country, course/field of interest, test scores (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL/Duolingo), education level, work experience, budget range
Messages you send us through a form, WhatsApp or email
Standard technical data collected automatically by any website — pages visited, browser type, approximate location from IP address, and analytics events (once real Google Analytics / Meta Pixel tracking is live on this site)

We do not knowingly collect passport numbers, financial account details or other sensitive identity documents through this website — those are only ever collected later, directly, once you're working with one of our counsellors on an actual application, through secure channels appropriate to that purpose.

2. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry and book a free counselling session
To route your enquiry to the right branch (Navi Mumbai, Kolhapur or Noida) and the right service team
To show you a result from a free tool (e.g. an eligibility estimate or points estimate)
To follow up by WhatsApp, phone, email or SMS about your enquiry
To improve our website and tools, and to measure how visitors use them
To meet our own legal, accounting and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above without asking you first.

3. How your data reaches us

Submitting a form on this site opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message to the relevant OEVS branch, and/or is logged for our internal follow-up. We may also use standard analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) once configured with live tracking IDs, to understand site usage in aggregate — these tools may set cookies in your browser.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary to deliver our services: with our own branch counsellors and MARN-registered agents, and — only once you're actively working with us on an application — with the specific university, institution, visa authority or financial partner relevant to your case, and only with your knowledge. We do not share your data with unrelated third parties or advertisers.

5. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry and consultation data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and meet legal/regulatory record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable data protection law, you can ask us to:

Tell you what personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete data we no longer need for the purposes above
Withdraw consent to future contact (you can also just tell us to stop, any time, via WhatsApp or email)

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
